Title: Hardware requirements

what are the hardware requirements for xlights?  i'm running os x, el capitan, 10.11.6, 4 gig ram, 1Tb drive on 2009 macbook pro

i was using an older 17 macbook pro and started experiencing random crashes.  ATOS is trying to debug and shuts down xlights.  i submitted my files on github, it was checked out and no errors found.  i switched to an older macbook pro 15, it worked fine for a few weeks, now the problem has come back.  when i say "the problem is back" it's crashed 7-8 times today. 

advice needed, thanks

Update... I downloaded xlights to my work laptop, a new Dell 7390 and it worked flawlessly.

I started a new sequence on my MacBook and worked for about 5-10 minutes until the first crash. Took that sequence over to the Dell and continued working with no crashes. So I guess my Mac is too old.
