Title: arch layers
Post by: charlie-68 on August 31, 2019, 08:29:41 PM
I was looking at some new coro props that is new this year. One I liked is the coro arch that has 3 layers of pixels on 1 arch. I was looking at the arch effect and it has no setting for multi layers. The circle has a line for layers of pixels, could that be used in the arch effect? I seen the new  prop in Holiday Coro site. Too late for me this year bur maybe next year..

Wouldnt you create three arches and place them accordingly along with a group to put them into 1 prop? Or perhaps a custom prop but that might be tricky to put into the excel spreadsheet mapping.

I was thinking of that but I was thinking that my wiring would be like a matrix ( 1 strand zigzag 3 times). I have 4 arches so your way  would mean 12 arches, seems a little unhandy. But I not planning this prop this year. Lots of thinking time. Thanks  Charlie J.

I just found a Boscoyo download that is what I was thinking about.  I will play with it to see how it works.  Charlie J.

I tried the Boscoyo down load, It works for their prop but I wanted 50 pixels in each row. Theirs is only 46 I think, with no way to change the count. Could it be revised to allow a pixel number change? Thanks for the awesome software!!  Charlie J.

You can edit the model once you import it.
