Title: Error when Uploading to FPP
Post by: Grave9 on October 09, 2019, 11:14:50 PM
Keith / Gil,

I've researched everywhere trying to solve this. I feel it's a character out of place but can't find it. I'm getting this error and not sure what file to edit line 2 on:

xml parsing error: 'not well-formed (invalid token)' at line 2

Any direction would be amazing. Trying to get my Halloween show online................Drew

In xlights do view log (I think that is the menu option) .. see what it says..

Well does it happen when you open xLights or when you open a sequence file?  If it happens opening xLights then it's probably the xlights_rgbeffects file.  You could delete the keybindings file and it will be recreated as defaults.

AllKnowing2012, attached is my log. It's still trying to find sequences from last year for some reason.

Gil, It's only happening when I try to upload to my FPP, both input and outputs. So I'm currently unable to run my show off FPP.

Nothing obvious.. pehaps run a tools->check sequence or even hop on zoom to let the folks have a look.
(xlights.org then the zoom button)

Are you using the latest version. This sounds similar to something dan fixed 2 or 3 versions ago

He got on zoom - turns out he was trying to upload to an alphapix - I dont believe that is possible? Anyways we had him highlight the falcon controllers entries and just upload those.
