i know i have seen it somewhere, but i can't locate it... is it better to adjust brightness in xlights or on the F16v3? i want to start out at 50% for testing, then adjust individual models as needed. do i leave xlights set to 100% and change the F16v3 to 50%, vice versa, or do they need to match??

Only do it in one place or you'll end up with 25%. I like to do it in the controller because in most cases I'm protecting the amount of power that can be drawn in each output. I don't want to trust the sequence I send to control my power output.

I'm with Gil on this one. All of ours (that can do it) are done at the controller.
The one exception is if you have something, anything, that you may want to ramp up to a "very bright", for a moment. That one should remain at a higher level in the controller, but held back in the sequencer. I have 1 item out of many possible that we do that with - and not on a regular basis.

Another vote for changing the brightness in the controller.

Sounds good thanks for the input
