Title: display bug
Post by: scuba on October 12, 2019, 12:46:41 PM
I've a group called LOR Only (see screenshot label  Group. If I use an ON command for Blue, it works fine, Red or Green I just get a one of two models "ON".

I've included the XML files: LOR ONLY GROUP TEST; RGBEFFECTS; and a PNG file: Group (screen shot)

I also noted that if I select the blue wall the display shows a red line, If select red wall or green wall no red line is displayed.

Door red and door green are not set to Red/Green, they have some other RGB value.  Thus, they will respond to different color options.

The "red line" is there to show that model is perfectly horizontal.   The other walls are not.

Darn it I wasted 10 minutes finding the same problem and go to post the reply and Dan beat me...lol.  Yeah I was gonna say it needs to be pure colors.  It will say "Red" when you set it to 255,0,0.  Your Red Door was really close to red as 251,2,7 but that prevents the pure red effect from firing the channel.

you guys are great! Thanks I missed that!

BTW: If you look at the rgbeffects file you can see the reference to the "Volumes/SSD Drive/Users/gronagerimac/....."

The question is although those files references are in a User folder, that Drive is not even on my system.  The drive had failed and I moved/restored the folders to a new drive with a different name, but in the User directory.

What's up, these are gif's and png's that are used in a sequence.

Should I replace the SSD Drive reference with the proper location?

The sequence does work with this rgbeffects file

That is xlights ignoring the path above the show folder. It corrects the location on the fly.

Brilliant feature!!
I notice it doesn't correct the photos until I paint it to the correct files

There are rules which have been covered in numerous videos about what can and can’t be fixed up.
