Title: House Preview in xSchedule
Post by: jem5136 on November 05, 2019, 08:44:43 PM
I'd really love to be able to have the option to open the house preview in xSchedule. It'd be handy to make sure run times are exactly how I want them and that each song blends smoothly into the next. It'd be a virtual preview of the entire display instead of a single song.

This is something that will NOT be added.

Is there a reason this won?t be added?

Yes. Because it is a stupid idea. The one thing you don?t want is your show player lagging because it is doing unnecessary work.

Looking back at this, I would say it would be a waste of time to add the visualizer in xSchedule. Running the songs in a playlist on Spotify did exactly what I needed. As far as computer resources, personally, my PC and laptop could handle it but many show computers (for running the display) have basic setups that wouldn't be able to handle the extra workload.
