Title: Multiple Problems
Post by: Avind on November 30, 2019, 01:06:21 PM
Hoping someone can help...   there appears to be some problem with my output from my PC to the lights.  Everything looks fine on the preview screen.  Yet  when the data goes out to the lights there are numerous issues.  1) roof on left side only lights half the strand.  The same goes for the left side of the door and the upright side of the garage.  My four mini trees and their stars do not light at all.  (Check sequence shows that the mini trees overlap with the mega tree.   The mega tree is on a completely different controller with a different IP address.  On two of my songs, one of the snowflakes is firing out of order though they work fine on the remaining songs.  Yesterday, the colors were different on everything though that seems to have cleaned up after recompiling all the songs.  The software takes forever to close a song. I am talking 7 to 10 minutes.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in Advance.  Rick

A few notes...  I am running .67
All lights turn on when tested from the hardware.

I was having a similar problem and it turned out to be overlaping channels.

Believe check sequence if it says your channels overlap.

Thanks for the help.  That resolved most of the problems. However, two of my snowflakes are activating out of sequence.  I have 10 snowflakes in my display.  On two of the songs, SF’s 7 & 8 fire in reverse order. They behave fine for the rest of the songs, at least as far as I can tell.  Any thoughts?

If you are sequencing them in a group maybe you added them in the wrong order?
Have you checked they were not accidentally switched ... I have seen people do that?

I did not use groups for the songs where the reverse occurs.  I have checked the sequence and it is entered correctly.  I also verified the hardware connections.  Christmas Gremlins?  LOL

Attach a stripped down version of the sequence showing the problem and indicate exactly which effects to look at
