Hello, and Help!!!
I have been using Xlights for several years and initially it was just to convert my sequences in Light Show Pro to a Falcon Player. Everything worked fine for years. No this year, when I am short on time I had to do some updating on Xlights and FPP and my show is not working on sequences that worked last year.
In the past, I did not need to define my display in Xlights to convert the sequences.
So....
I have defined my display in Xlights now, and I am trying to take some FPP sequences that were working in FPP 1.9 and convert them (first), and then modify them(second) using lights.
I could use some help.
I took the .fseq files from the fpp, put them in to the latest lights and saved them. No Worky!
I render on save.
Am I missing something? Should I be processing the files differently?
Once I get them working, I will work on adding my RGB elements for the year.
Thank you,
Mike.

Sounds like you need to go to the settings menu and set the FPP file format to v1. v2 files require at least FPP 2.5 from memory.

So do I need to set to v1 when I load and v2 when i save?
I am confused about the order.
Will Xlights read in the files if they are v1? and resave as v2.
I am just trying to update some files from last year and it is proving frustrating.
I appreciate any and all help.

v1 and v2 refer to fseq files. xlight works with xml files and creates the v1 or v2 file
