Title: 3 foot stow flakes versus 3 foot square matrix

I was planning to order large snow fakes for next years display and my son suggested
Just building small 3 foot square matrix’s instead

Could I program a small matrix to act like a snowflake or a spinner and not look like a matrix?

You can certainly mimic the lights outputted to be the same -- you cant however get the "look" of a true snowflake. Not sure its an either or decision .. go for both?
