Title: Just getting started and have issues with WLED

I have started learning Xlights.  So I bought a power supply, 4 Nodemcu boards, and one light strip.  I have flashed the nodemcu with WLED and wired it all up, but the WLED will not control it.  I have 5v going from the power supply to the nodemcu and lights.  I have common from the power supply going to the nodemcu and lights.  I have DIO pin 4 going to the data pin of the lights.  I have tried using both the WLED app and the browser, but the lights will not respond.  Any suggestions?

I got it working....Not sure what the issue was.  I just redid all the wiring and it started working.
