The file for xLights 2020.02 32 bit version does not exist
-
32 bit builds are no longer being created. We will not be supporting xLights on 32bit operating systems any longer.
-
I understand there will be limited support for xScheduler for 32 bit so older machines can be used as players. But as Dan stated xLights has left the 32 bit arena.
-
Ok
Another reason to go to Windows 10.
Thanks

Win 10 alone does not guarantee that xlights 64 will run. Your computer would still need to be able to support 64 bit.
-
If you system is so old that it will not support 64bit it really is time to come into this century and get a new PC.

If you are looking at one of those cheap Chrome computers, there is a reason it’s cheap, check the end of life/support on it. I have seen a lot of Chrome computers, brand new in a box that only had 3 to 8 months support left on them.

xlights does not run on Chrome AFAIK. Plus most Chromebook computers are way underpowered to run xlights. Chromebooks are not windows computers. Think of them more like a big Android tablet.

sad my machine is a 32 bit one . i am using xlights 2019.74 /////must be missing something in the updates ...

I believe they have quit build 32 bit versions. xlights really needs 64 bit with all the functions and the avg size of shows these days.
