Title: Creative Slump
Post by: NTJP on February 12, 2020, 08:07:07 AM
I have hit a creative slump programming sequence for Halloween.  First time this has happened. Normally when I hear music, I am designing my house in my head.  Does not matter what music it is. If it has a good beat, I am thinking of how it would look in lights.  But, for some reason I have hit a wall.  Have about 25 seconds of Ghostbusters and for some reason nothing comes to mind on what next. Nothing….  I have played it over and over.  What do you do when hitting a slump to get creative again?

First off. Don't try to force it.
Maybe look at other people's videos to see what they've done.
Or just try the random effect generator a few times to see if something looks good to you.
Try working on another sequence and coming back to it later with a fresh perspective.

Well Shrooms would work but divorce is too expensive.

Going to look for videos.  Might also work on Purple people eater or Monster mash.
