Thanks for the info.  I talked with Keith yesterday and we briefly discussed the Xscheduler plugin.   It works very well and is a bit easier to implement.

I'll given the remote falcon folks a heads up on the flicker issue. Programing is way outside my capabilities! If he/they get it fixed I'll post a more detailed Vid on the customization bit.
