Title: Coro props. Sequencing just one prop for practice
Post by: Rowcat on October 18, 2020, 01:34:41 PM
Shouldn?t I be able to take a Boscoyo or Gilbert engineering Coro prop, like a 36-150 Star or a Spinner (big circle), and easily run it thru it?s paces? I see some videos of stuff like pinwheels or other effects.

I don?t see any easy way to do that as a newbie.

From the models across the top click it .. then click and drag a new one on your screen to create one.
Then you tell it how many pixels in your star.

I have a test folder (seperate from my normal xlights folder) with a Null of 100000 channels. Then I can add whatever I like in Layout for testing.

This way there's no chance of mucking up existing controllers, channels, layout, sequences etc in your normal folder; and it's heaps easier now with the ability to temporarily change folders.

If you want to see what a prop looks like on your current layout, you could copy the necessary files from your current folder to the new test folder and then add the null for test props.
