I can run my show through xlights and everything runs correctly. When I load it into XScheduler it has a slight lag/pause which has a definite negative impact on the show. Could this be something that is computer related or is there something else I can try to clean up my show?

There are lots of reasons. Make sure you don?t have fpp unicast master set as that does cause issues. Minimise other running tasks. I do have a tool if you are desperate which sets up static arp entries which can eliminate some network related pauses.
Also beware running in Dropbox or on slow media like external drives.
I run 15,000 pixels on a 10 year old laptop with no pauses at all so it is solveable.

Thanks for the tip. I do not have FPP Unicast Master Set and this is the only task running on my computer. My show does have several images and 8 songs, but I am no where near 15k pixels.
Any other ideas? I appreciate the help.

I'm having kind of the same problem, when I run my sequences every controller lags and it's like the data is accumulated, then it resumes.
Idk what could be. I'd like to try that software Keith mentioned.

That tool is xscanner - its part of the latest xlights release. Check your xlights install folder.

What is xScanner supposed to do or fix?
