Hi everyone,
I've purchased my first controllers - an F48 and an F16V3 from Falcon. I own quite a bit of classic AC equipment which I want to continue using but add them to my show that will be managed by Xlights.
I will also purchace an LOR 16port controller.
Do I need to have one of the controllers set as the master controller and have it manage the other two or do I connect each controller directly to my network switch and Xlights can handle all three of them for the 1 single show via the network?
Thanks everyone,
Bob

Doesn't sound like any of those controllers are able to source the show data so you would need something like a PC running xSchedule or a Pi running FPP. Which 16port LOR controller is that an AC one? If so then you can connect it to the F16v3 DMX output with the correct jumper settings. If its a pixel controller from LOR just don't get it.

Hi Gilrock - Yes - I will be running Xlights from either a laptop or a Raspberry PI and yes the LOR controller is for AC products - the CTB16PC controller is what I am considering though I have not committed to any AC controller yet - I just want to make sure that the equipment that I buy all works as 1 single solution and I don't need to try to run 2 shows simultaneously
Thank you

Yep you can do it all in one show. I have a few LOR AC controllers in mine. Unless you have super old firmware they run best in DMX mode so anything that can send them DMX will work. I like to use the DMX outputs from a Falcon card.
