Title: In Layers drop down, what do these do?

The drop down that has Insert layers above/below, a little further down there's "Convert to effect" and "Promote node effects."  What these do? And where might I find a description of them in the manual?

Has to do with LOR imported sequences ... they come in as off/on type node "effects". That would convert them to xlights effects so you could then copy/paste etc.

They aren't in the manual.  Promote node effects tries to figure out if a higher level effect can be inserted to replace a group of node effects.
