Title: issues with san devices e6804 and lights not lighting with sequence
Post by: hookmanbeme on November 04, 2021, 07:50:05 PM
i am brand new to xlights and I was able to get the e6804 to be seen in xlights and the light on it is green so the connection is good but when I play through a song for a sequence the lights do not ever change.   I am on version 5 of the firmware for the 6804 and I am using multicast e1.31.   Any ideas would be helpful.   Thank You.

Screenshots of the 6804 setup page and of the controller setup in xlights would be helpful.

Are you trying to play from the sequencer? If so, have selected the "Output to Lights" (light bulb) on the top menu bar?

Yes I did select the output to lights but still I am not getting any lights to show.

So I was able to get the device to communicate but the lights still do not light.   I set the device to unicast and that appears to be allowing packet flow but lights are not working. I am getting sequence errors on the device.

Do the lights work when running test mode on the controller?
How are you connecting to the controller (hardware)?
How about a screenshot of the the controller output page.
