When Buying a prop like 36" Star from Boscoyo, recommendations to buy the star with a slit to save on shipping or buy no slit?

No problems with a slit .. it comes with a backer piece and a nice piece of gorilla tape you should be good to go.

Yeah I have the big spiders and after mounting the backing piece with zip ties I forget it ever had a slit
