Title: UI Batch Render and FPP Connect Upload Status
Post by: thekameleon on December 27, 2021, 11:53:44 PM
I would like to see a list of sequences being rendered during the batch process, so I can see which has been rendered and what still has to render. Just to give me a ballpark idea of where things are at.

With that, I would like to see FPP Connect provide a status as it uploads beyond the progress bar.  For example, which controllers have been uploaded to, which still need uploading to, per sequence.  My knee-jerk reaction UI idea would be a grid with each controller listed at the top, and each sequence as a row.  The cells for each controller and sequence combination would show a Yellow arrow of what is to be uploaded, green check box on successful upload, red x for failed upload. Maybe even have an auto-retry until count feature that would re-attempt uploads on failures up to a certain time, or after a pass of uploads has occurred, have a button to retry for any failures. (I realize this may seem like a crutch for all the CURL errors that appear to happen. However, it would address other random network / IO issues that can occur from time to time)

I would just like to see FPPConnect as a standalone function so that I could go back to the sequencer and work on the sequence while it was uploading the last one.  (I have 12 remotes so it can take a bit, and everytime I restart the connect it goes out and rediscovers all the remotes, sigh).

I think this would be a nice improvement, too. Having it re-discover my FPPs each time becomes a waste of time once everything is up and running. I have many "Player" FPPs that don't need to be discovered in the first place.

The recent update to remember the Sorting (for me, by date) was a very welcome change.
