Title: Noob Question
Post by: RandyS on January 13, 2022, 12:39:41 PM
Okay, I have a newbie question.  In watching one of Keiths tuturials recently, I noticed that he has some of the effects windows parked above the waveform.  I have tried to set up my sequencing screen like that, but when I move a window toward the timeline, that area turns blue, and the window just wants to spread out from edge to edge.......  I'm sure there must be a simple way to get there, but this old brain isn't getting it.  Help.....  using 2022.1

Sounds like you got it .. just drop another beside it and the full width window will become half sized etc.
When done save that perspective in the View menu.

If you want the window to stay floating instead of docking hold down the control key as your moving it.

O.K., I got the windows where I want them.  How do I get the timeline to move down below the windows?
