Title: 3D view renders grey materials in 22.04

I was using 22.01 and doing layout work with 3d models.
materials and everything was working fine.

i upgraded to 22.04 and the layout 3D view had the models all gray.  I understand that is a default behavior if you can't not find the materials.

However, they are there.

downgraded to 22.01 and all is working fine there.

No spaces in the filenames -- that is a new requirement as well.

YUP.. i have a space in file name... let me upgrade and triple check

As a newbie I must ask as one day i hope to go 3d.
What file names cannot have spaces?
Pictures, layouts, etc?
I would really like to do this right the first time.

If you were into computers back in the 80's you normally don't run into this issue because filenames were never allowed to have spaces back then so we got into the habit to never include them or any special characters for any type of name in anything in the PC.
