Title: Picture Editor - can you really do animations or is that incorrect?

I can see you can create individual images .. but I dont see a method to create animations. Am I missing something here?

An animation is just a series of pictures.  We've had users create some nice animations using just the EffectAssist with the Picture effect.  I created that effect assist and had intended to eventually make it so it could edit GIF files but to be honest people just use external tools so it didn't seem worth the effort.  I've never read the manual and don't worry about what it says.  I'm a guy we don't read manuals...lol.
