I am looking to build some arches.
What LED strips do I need to look for that will work with a Falcon controller?

If you insist on using strips, any of them should work with a Falcon controller. The key thing to watch for is that some strips light up 3 pixels per node, ie, they have 3 pixels controlled by each ws2811 chip vs just one. I don't remember the models numbers, but I'm sure someone will chime in. After making mine, the family decided they did not like the diffused look along side all the other non-diffused lights and I only used them one season and sold them.

You need to get the strips that have 60 leds per meter. I did testing and the ones that are 30 per meter look too choppy when effects are scrolling across it. I've had these several years and had issues with them breaking in the middle since I had them tensioned on the end even though I kept the tension on the plastic sleeve. I made an improvement this year. I bought the thin white Boscoyo strips and then I zip tied the ribbon strips to the Boscoyo strings. Then I attach my springs on the end to the Boscoyo strips. It keeps all the tension off of the ribbon strips. I love the diffused look and you need the 2" milky white HDPE for that to look the best.

I used the jell filled strips from wired watts 2 strips back-to-back wired the feed wired the ends together so both strips lighting matched . slid them into 3/4 white pex tube On the output side left one set dead and the other fed the next Ok pixel pole.
