It doesn't seem to work in Vista, The sequencer page is offset if you don't disable desktop composition in the xLights v4.0.4 shortcut but it still looks and works fine fine if you disable aero.

Thanks for the confirmation that aero does not work on Vista. Non of us on the development team have Vista so for you i would say yuou should run non-aero.
I think xlights has one the largest OS platforms:
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Winodws 7
Windows 8
Linux
MAC OSX
I think 70-80% of our user base is on Windows 7 or 8.
Any other Windows XP or Vista users that are using xLights 4.0?

I'm curious if you have any screenshots of what Aero looked like on Vista with version 4.0.2 or earlier?

Reinstalled v4.0.2 and had slightly different results, a smaller grid stayed in the grid area but didn't fill it and had to click on the grid when I did something to have it display again.

Yeah that's actually how I was seeing it in Win7 when Aero was on. I don't about the other guys but we probably won't spend time trying to make Aero run in Vista. Any machine running Vista is probably old and you don't want to be slowing it down with Aero anyways.

I have no problem with continuing to set non-Aero in the shortcut, I just thought you'd want to know. The truth is that I'm so impressed with xLights v4 that I'd use my laptop (now that it can use multiple screens) or buy a new computer if necessary to keep using it. Please keep working on critical issues and features (like undo or copy and paste :D)
Thank you, to Sean and the entire team, for this great software and what's amazing is that it just keeps getting better.
