Title: JPEG image not showing up on preview screen with XL4.0.5

I downloaded XL4.0.5 tonight and the jpeg of my house doesn't show up in the preview screen anymore.   I rolled back to 4.0.4 to make sure my PC wasn't being flaky.   I see the house jpeg in 4.0.4.   Went back to 4.0.5 and the house jpeg is not there.   The display elements are shown; that is the important part!!!

i did verify this is a bug.

Opened issue to track it
Load Background image in 4.0.5 just gives a gray screen #107
