Falcon Hardware / Re: FALCON DIFFERENTIAL RECIEVER
« on: April 24, 2020, 03:21:16 PM »
First,  you can only use one receiver off a F16V3 without an expansion card. It will connect to output port 1. Ther other two ports can be used for DMX.

This is the product manual which might help you https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-ei5l6h9wltfD4pZ0Jox6chTYPKULPf1GhA6VWT-qCA/edit

If you feel it's a repeatable issue then you should report it here:

Every Wed evening there is an online training session that you might consider to start attending. It is conducted via a program called Zoom and the meeting is usually refereed to as a Zoom meeting. The application does not necessarily need to be installed but for future use and attendance I would recommend doing a permanent installation. Tonight's session is definitely for beginners in this hobby. You are welcome to attend using this link.

https://zoom.us/j/175801909

The session usually starts at 8:00PM Eastern time and last for an hour or so. Afterwards is an open question and answer session. Don't be afraid to ask any question you like.

Latest xLights/Nutcracker software / Re: Download 2020.02 32 bit

If you system is so old that it will not support 64bit it really is time to come into this century and get a new PC.

I understand there will be limited support for xScheduler for 32 bit so older machines can be used as players. But as Dan stated xLights has left the 32 bit arena.

Lights / Re: Ray Wu failure ?????

I have bought from him many times very large orders. Sometimes he responds fast, sometimes not so fast.

I believe that being cordial but persistent is the best way to go.

He has always been a straight up vendor, but has become very busy with incoming/outgoing orders so just be patience.

It would cost too much for you to return strings to him.

He will send replacements but you need to be specific as what you want.

Sometimes they are on Holiday so you need to check their national holidays.

He will ultimately respond.

Put a note on his facebook page that you e-mailed him and when but have not received a response.

He is a good vendor, just sometimes a little erratic.

Search for 'Pixel Tester Clamp' on 3D Printing for Christmas Light Enthusiast Group or for Kevin Smith. Also he has poosted the print files here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3211402?fbclid=IwAR3yBEi1IDV3XKFe_sD7TCiS8kzzICq0-PIHhCBpvBVrKojbTEqQQTjqvvc

Falcon Hardware / Re: F16V4 string port empty

If you are going for neatness the set the Universe to 100, the start channel to 1 and the pixel count to 0. Nothing will be outputted on that port but the layout will be neat.

How are you testing the output?

It looks like you have achieved the dream you once told me you wanted to do. Looks great and looking forward to seeing it merged into the main published thread.

Again thanks for this great addition.
