I am using an differential expansion board for a 2nd MegaTree, it has 8 strings of 4 that will connect to the diff reciever boards, question is when i set up the tree and i assign port 17 will 18,19,20,21,22,23and 24 be assigned?

i was rebuilding all my models on a new preview and i checked the 3d box, when i unchecked 3d and went back to the preview i was working on the preview ha expnded past the borders of the screen. how do i get the edges moved back in to see the full preview screen i set up?

okay set the path in environment variables and i now have all the different plugins available. Thank you all for your help.

deplanche :  yes i check the drop down every time and i only get 50 ms not 100ms metronome and empty.

Kieth: tried 3 other audio files they all respond the same way

Gil:  still don't have a path to them when i run set in cmd prompt all it shows is xlights and the log says path to vamp not set.
do i not need that path established?

yes after install of both xlights and vamp i opened a new musical sequence attached audio file thru wizard went to timings and only see the 50ms when i selected new. created the sequence and tried opening settiings sequence settings and selected timings tab and again only get 50 ms timings. the plugins do no get listed.

okay so i deleted xlights and vamp from C:  i went everywhere and deleted everything i could find. Reinstalled xlights and then reinstalled QMVamp plugins from the download page for 64 bit. Still do not get them when I try to create a new sequence using the wizard or from settings - sequence settings - timings. looked at SET from cmd prompt and there is no path to the plugins still.

the line to point to vamp plugins is not in my set file it has:
c:\program files (x86)\xlights\xlights
c:\program files\xlights;
C:\Program Files (x86)\xLights\xLights

how do i write to this file to add the " VAMP_PATH=C:\Program Files (x86)\Vamp Plugins"

looked in the log and the plugins show being found  :Loading plugins.

and then it lists all the plugins saw no errors. went to the files and checked and they are the 64 bit version. still don't show up in xlights have closed and restarted several times (xlights) with no change. they do show up in audacity.

they are installed in both program files and program files x86. i am opening a new musical seq and do not get them listed when i open timings. I am running win 10 development not the commercial version 64 bit but that really shouldn't matter.

yes i used the download from xlights org page also downloaded the file from vamp plugins page exe and files and copied them to system file and nutcracker 4.0 file also made a vamp file under c: and installed them there. nothing seems to work . open new seq and try to add timing in the wizard and all i get is 50ms.

have latest release of xlights have audacity and have downloaded the QM vamp plugins. have put them everywhere i could think of (plugins) have them is sys folder have them in their own folder under C:, have them in their own folder in nutcracker, but when i try to start a new sequence  i only get the 50ms timing mark. where is the vamp plugins supposed to go??

1st is there a way to stop the sequene from playing when i select an effect. and 2 I have a few effects that turn on in preview early when the sequence is running for example I have 10 strings of single color icicles across the eve and 2 sections will turn on with the section before them then blink when it is their turn to turn on. any ideas?

i m new and am trying to figure out how to make a rgb strand (an arch) turn on white and have the chase be no light or black? has anyone done this?
