I couldn't figure how to change the resolution on the projector. As a work around I duplicated the monitor and projector together and that worked a treat!

Evening,

I'm using Xscheduler to project a video in time with my sequence. When I play the sequence both the video and pixels begin to look jerky if the video is outputted to my data projector. If I switch the video to output onto a regular (1920x1080) monitor as an example everything appears to work fine.

Resolution of the data projector is 3840 x 2160 connected via a HDMI cable

Further to my post below if I leave the video window size at (1920x1080) and play on the data projector it plays fine. As soon as I make the screen it bigger it slows down jumps.

I couldn't find Video Hardware Decoding, but did find #Use Hardware Accelerated video. I've turned this off and the video plays on my monitor (1920x1080) no problems, but when I move to my data projector which has a resolution of 3840x2160 the video is very slow and jumpy.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Cheers James

Check question I have RGBW moving heads with each colour having its own channel. Is there a way to create a submodel so the RGB will act like one pixel for the colours?

Falcon Hardware / DMX Moving Heads Randomly twitch and move with a CAT6/7
« on: September 25, 2020, 09:33:16 PM »
Afternoon All,

just purchased a flat CAT6/7 cable to run under some carper to control a series of DMX controlled moving heads. As soon as I plug the cable into the 2nd RJ45 port on the F16V3 all of the DMX heads begin to twitch and move like a test pattern of some sort is running. If I switch the cable back to a regular Cat5 no movement and the lights operate as intended once the show is launched from Xlights.

Even with the Cat6/7 connected I can't  lanch a show from Xlights nothing happens?

Just wondering if I can use a Cat6/7 cable or is there a setting I can change?

Cheers

James

Afternoon All,

Just need some assistance with changing the video output size when using an MP4 video file with an FSEQ which uses the same file to sequence the lights. The video is to be outputted to a data projector

Original video size is 640 wide 360 high.

Head to xscheduler
click add FSEQ+video
select FSEQ file
click the FSEQ in the playlist
add the video file to video file drop down

If i play the selected play the video plays but the size is W366 H300.

I edit the play list and click "Position Window" everything is greyed out including "Set Size Based on Matrix Size" the only thing I can press is "OK"

Any suggestions on how I can change the video size to be 640/360

Nutcracker Effects / DMX moving head Group - What render style
« on: November 05, 2018, 02:49:39 AM »
Evening folks

I have four moving heads in my display and have created a group to control them all at once. I’ve tried the render style as single line but can’t seem to get them moving all at once. Any suggestions?

Nutcracker Effects / Single Pixel Chase

Evening,

Just wondering which effect would achieve a single pixel chase from pixel one on model one through all my models to the last pixel on my last model?

Hope I’ve explained that correctly?

Kind regards

James

Evening,

I've have been playing around with the custom value curves (Specifically DMX). Is there any way to actually enter a value, rather trying to use the mouse? ie .50,100

Also once the custom value has been saved any way we could add a flip vertical/horizontal option, then rename and save.

ps love this program
