When you say half the channels, are you referring to the output banks?  Would that mean that outputs 9-18 aren't working?  Or is it some other grouping.  When you say they went blank do you mean they are not responding to your sequence events?

I've been doing this with vixen sequences - I aligned channel numbers and names and works well as a data layer (I have a combination of pixels and regular incans).  I'm not familiar with hls, but I think concept should be the same - matching channel names, etc... just my guess

If it's playing in the previews I would think data is there.  Double click on the model item and keep going further until you get to individual nodes.
