I had a pixlite 16 running my mega tree and arches last year.  My tree is 12 feet high.  I run 16 strands of 50 ws2811 each in a zig zag of 200 nodes per string.I do power inject at the end of the 200 strand.  this allowed me to free up 4 additional ports on my pixlite.  This year the mega tree will be run by a F16v2 pl expansioin board as I have added a lot of new lights.

Pixlite ran like a champ last year with no issues.

My temporary fix for this was to resize the video from 720x1080 to 480x854.  This has really help save times from over an hour to a few minutes.  Video seems to be fine on the projector.  May do further refinement once I get everything setup and vied from a distance.

My virtual matrix is 80X160 horizontal matrix starting location is top left.

Thanks f everything you do. 

I have setup a virtual matrix using a projector.  (#strings=80; Nodes/string=160;start channel 31675).  The render time is around 2 minutes when I dont use the video effect.  When I add in video playing on the virtual matrix render time is about an hour and a half all due to the virtual matrix and video effect.  I only use 20-40 seconds of the video in 3 sections of the sequence. 

Any advice on how to shorten the render timer?



The video I am using is 1280wx720h frame rate 25fps and 4 minutes long
