Do You Need Help? Post it here / Help for setup DMX 30ch board & universes

I am very new this but I have spent a lot of time synchronizing songs for Christmas and Halloween. Between watching the videos and learning from my own mistakes I feel xLights is a great program.
Unfortunately to run my show I am at a lost at trying to get xlights an/or computer to find my controlling cards so I can run my show.
I don't have LOR, Vixen or any other programs or their products. What I do have is,
xLights, Windows 7, dumb RGB Led strip lights, 4 DMX 30 channel boards with dip switch (QJ-30CHDMX-20140730).
In my setup on xlights I have 4 universes setup as
E131 Mutlicast Unver #1 Last ch-30 channels 1-30
E131 Mutlicast Unver #2 Last ch-30 channels 31-60
E131 Mutlicast Unver #3 Last ch-30 channels 61-90
E131 Mutlicast Unver #4 Last ch-30 channels 91-120
I planned on using ethernet outlet from computer to the first controller card (universe 1) then card 1 to (U#2) , (U#3) then to the last controller (U#4). The main problem is I can not get computer and or xlights to recognize my first card which does have the dip switch set with only #1 switch on the on position.
Is my xlights setup wrong for this type of controller?
Tried Unicast setting with IP address as 192.168.0.40 but nothing worked.
Do I have to change something on my Windows 7 for the Local Area Network (LAN) settings and if so how?
In some of the videos a DMX 27 channel card is being use which is no different than a 8,16,30 or 36 channel so I must be missing something getting my controller to be recognized. Is there something wrong in my setup or I'm missing a item. If anyone could help it would be gratefully appreciated.
