Bugs in xLights/Nutcracker / Re: Can I make this any harder on myself???

OK....I went into my system back up. I found one from October and replaced the current file with that one......it's all there and now works fine ..... it's all there! Go Figure! I went through all my Xlights (in the Xlights folder) back ups and they are all corrupted! All of them only have one model dating back six months. Pretty strange, but all seems to be well now with the system BU file.

I kept a copy of Xlights 3 on my system (for my old files). Could that have done something? Just throwing out ideas! :)

Thanks!

Not really a bug...more like User error.

So, awhile back, my models went missing......not the good looking ones like Claudia Schiffer, Elle Macpherson....the ones that I use for my light show.

Well, I found that my Open GL needed to be forced to "1" because of my OS and video card.....and everything came back.

Fast forward to yesterday, opened up XLiights.......only one model appeared. (?????). Tried switching Open GL's back and forth to toggle a reaction.....nothing. Restart, cold start....nothing.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Uh oh......somebody is reading my debugging reports.  :)

Yes, I actually tried to up grade the video driver. But AMD moved my video card to their "legacy" support...which means that won't support it. I did get a "generic upgrade" that they suggested for all their unsupported products. It did improve my OPEN GL functionality to V4.0....but it eliminated all my HD graphics, so back to the old driver.

But I do appreciate the response and options! :)

Very good.....thank you! I never would have thought of that. I had to manually set it all the way down to V1, it's all good!

Thank you! Steve   ;D

Well I downloaded the latest and greatest version of Xlights 2016.
For some reason...all my models ran away....gone. Which is not overly tragic as I should make some new ones.

But when I go into the Layout tab to build some new models, they don't display in the preview. If I hit one of the "wizard" buttons (arches, tree, etc), then drag my mouse into the preview area, the only things that show are the axis points. But there are no pixels showing between these points. I checked the node layout, they are accounted for....but there are no pixel lines. Checked the tutorials to see what I missed, but found nothing addressing this issue......which is probably just me.

Ideas??  Thanks! Steve
