So... when everything is set up and running and all is good in the pixel world what happens to the computer that's running the show? If your not using a pi obviously...
Does it just stay on all the time or can you put a timer on it to turn on before the xschedular starts?
What do yall do out there?
Just looking for suggestions.

Gilrock... you ROCK!! Read it.. did it.. fixed it.
I only have 7 songs and had to ditch the Pi but all in all its coming out good. Started putting up my lights yesterday and its all working and looking good. It's my 1st year with pixels so tried to keep it simple. I'll definitely post a vid or 2 to show off "our work. Lol

I'm so close to finishing I can taste it....but!
I have a Sequence that I put the wrong media file in. It's off like by 3sec. So I need to put the right media file in or move the sequence to the right timing. What's ur suggestion?

Ok... If i have a strand of 50pixles and I want to keep node #17 #18 #19 ....#48 #49 2 off all the time is there a way to do this? Im sure there is but i couldn't find any youtube vids on it.

Ok... I gave up on the pi player cuz i couldnt get the wireless tobwork so now I'm going to go with the scheduler since im running short on time. So......
I did a play list and all that jazz. Set a test up and i can hear the song playn but no lights. I made sure the light bulb is on. And did the audio and fesq files but nothing. On the bottom of the page it says. C;\Users\George\Desktop : missing xlights _neyworks.xml. all in red. I'm sure that has sumthing to do with it.
I watched couple youtube vids but didn't really say anything abt that.

What i mean is I got the wireless dongle out of the box. Now there is a disk in the box and it says to load the disk into my computer and set it up. Since the dongle isnt going on my computer do i need to do this or just take it out of the box and just put it in the pi?

Ok... Got the dongle that was recommended. Now does it need to set to my computer with the hard drive or just plug it into the pi and go from there?
