Setting up sub-models would be easier if I can see the pixel layout with the numbers at the same time.

General hardware / Re: DMX board interference with receiver board

I finally figured out my problem.  The 2 elements getting interference was because when I power injected I 'broke' the ground and the V and had fresh power coming from same power supply.  I rejoined the ground line so it was continuous.

General hardware / DMX board interference with receiver board
« on: October 03, 2017, 08:00:53 PM »
I have an odd problem. In my garage I have a receiver board and a 27 channel DMX board. On one port I have the garage roof line, both verticals and 2 modified garage lights with 5v pixels. On port 2 I have 12v pixel ribbon on my flowerbed. The DMX board runs 12v Warm white 12v ribbon on same flowerbed as down lighting and 12v RGB ribbon that lights the under eave of the garage. If I have the WW ribbon on in the flowerbed, it causes glitching with the garage left vertical and left light fixture. This whole section of the display is off of one beefy computer power supply. The 2 elements having the issue have their own power line from the supply. I saw no difference in the 5v line with the WW lights on or off.  I also tried hooking up the DMX brd to a separate power supply.  Also tried the WW lights on different channels in case generating a frequency?

I fixed the ip address, that got rid of some odd errors I was getting opening up a sequence.  Falcon is receiving packets now, but no lights yet.  I think I'm down to needing what to set on the serial outputs page.

Yes, I plan to be in the zoom meeting.

I'm totally confused.  What do you mean I'm wanting to keep them in LOR mode?  I'm trying to set them up as universe 18.  The port i'm using is for LOR controllers.

I am battling trying to get xlights to control my lor boards.  Lor boards have correct firmware, plugged into serial port 2, jumpers set to lor.  Falcon test mode turns on the lights.  The threads on this are old and refer to the falcon 2 board.  I haven't found anything that explains the serial outputs page.  Also not receiving packets from xlights, probably cause I'm not sure how to setup xlights with the serial page.  I'll try to post screen shots of what I have.
