Do You Need Help? Post it here / Re: Face Model Preview Flashes

@Gilrock
I thought the same, but a missing image will show red (not blank).  At least I think that's the behavior.  Either way, I went back into Pixelmator (poor mans photoshop) and re-exported the images out.  They work fine now.  I have no clue what went wrong, but I've attached the 'working' set along with the 'not working' set.  If anyone can tell me the difference between the two files, I'd love to know.

Thanks again for your time on this.

Just for grins, I recorded a vid of what it looks like in xVideos.

I also found a random thread where people were uploading images smaller than mine (12x12 images I saw once).  Is this an issue with the image files themselves?

Do You Need Help? Post it here / Face Model Preview Flashes

I'm trying to create a custom face for my mega tree.  Since mega trees have relatively low resolution, I'm trying to use some extremely tiny images for the face (16x16 pixels at 72ppi).  When I point xLights at those tiny png files, the model preview panel flashes a single face phoneme over and over again.

I checked the logs, and saw this message repeating:

Is there a minimum size to the images that can be used for faces?

I've also attached one of the face files for reference.

Do You Need Help? Post it here / MacOS version running on High Sierra
« on: December 04, 2020, 06:04:20 PM »
I just rebuilt an older mac (iMac mid-2010) and was looking to get xLights running on it.  The highest OSX version that it supports is High Sierra (10.13.6).  I tried installing xLights from links, but each one redirects me to the AppStore to install it.  When I attempt to run that version (2020.51), it crashes immediately with a problem report pop-up.

Should I be troubleshooting the OS (just installed it), xLights itself (I can post the crash log if it helps), or try and get an older version of xLights?  Said another way, what OS versions should the MacOS support?
