Hi Guys,
Thanks for the feedback. It was a hard drive crash. I was a bit suspicious and although I had a backup of my music and photos managed to update them before total disk failure. I didn't think any further as I don't use the PC for lots of document creating (all done on the work laptop). It wasn't until I thought I would update the sophisticated light show that consists of half a Mega Tree (even that was tolerated begrudgingly) that I discovered the show folder wasn't where it was supposed to be. It's now in my One Drive folder. Now to remember how I got it all working.
BTW big displays with pixel controllers are not popular here in the UK. I'm cutting edge technology in my street.
