Do You Need Help? Post it here / Hello gurus im lost total newb first year

Hi everyone im struggling with channel and universing 5 volt WS2811 5 volt pixels in xlights . When i try and add my Pi Cap to my other models that are running off my falcon F4v3  do i delete those models when connecting to just my pi cap, it wont connect to xlights in test or anything. Whats odd is that the old sequences I wrote last spring work for the pi cap but  I cant connect to the pi cap via xlights or add new sequences to the pi cap that work. Do i start from channel 1 with the pu cap in xlights even though my F4 V3 Falcon is already in my xlights program under channel 1. I also have a 16 channel Falcon F16v3 that I want to add now along with my Falcon F4V3 and the Pi Cap and the Falcon F16v3. Help Newb lost
Im very affraid to delete any of my working setup for my F4V3 due to it took me months to figure it out in xlights and FPp

Xlights Setup / Xlights doesnt connect to my pi cap and im not sure how to only try and connect to that device

I have a Falcon F4V3 working my show right now and im trying to add my pi cap which is not wanting to connect to xlights test. One thing i dont want to do is lose my config in xlights setup to my show player which is the F4V3. I am afraid to delete any of my setup in xlights due to the fact it took me a very long time to finally get it figured out and I have no clue how to load a backup or if it would save that setup. I have a ton of universes already because I want to leave room for adding tons more to each output later. So I created a spread sheet with what universe should be where and channels, I list my Pi Cap as the last controler in my universes and channels. I had the pi cap working in xlights prior to adding the Falcon F4v3 which works perfect with xlights right now, but I can run the 2 sequences that I wrote in xlights that are saved on the flash drive from the spring if this year. As of this point I cant connect to test from xlights or add new sequences.

Xlights Setup / If I change the RGB setting in Xlight to like GBR do I have to change it

Hello if I change my settings in xlights to match what my pixels like in order to make them all the same color do I need to change the settings in the Falcon F4v3 strings dialogue to match the settings in xlights and if so do I need to change that for every sequence everytime the colors are wrong. The reason I ask is that if I change in on xlights and then on the Falcon then play a different sequence its wrong. So intern I would have to change that setting everytime a diff sequence plays on my show to match the correct light colors.

Xlights Setup / HOw do I get audio out from my Ras pi 3 running FPP to use both Audio and Seq

Hello all Noob here what I have is a pi 3 b running FPP and a F4v3 controller, I want to also seq with the mp3s and run show from the Pi how do i get the audio out to the yard. I live very close to a correctional facility and therefore if I run a Fm transmitter it would need to use a very weak powered one as to not interfere with the fm communication that law enforcement would be using. Or go the small speaker route. Anyone have some input on how to do this and what else I may need beyond the Pi and Falcon.

Xlights Setup / Re: How come when I string more than string of 50 together the color changes

I figured some of the problem out its a universe problem, with the 150 on each of 2 of my channels that I have connected it didnt matter which way I connected them in xlights  3 strings of 1 long string it seemed to not like it , but I changed some universe stuff around and got 3 of my 4 channels to working right. I still have not had channel 4 respond yet it may just be something I missed. I also had some colors that were not right which I  solved within the controller string configuration,I  should have known better than to have bought pixels from another source, than Ray Wu. I shopped more generic on my WS2811s. I am not sure why channel 4 doesnt seem to work right yet I know my pixel count is right and I should have plenty of  universes over it. I have not hung any pixels up yet either I want to make sure Im not the laughing stock of my neighbor hood being a newbie, maybe i can introduce some technology to this little town. Thanks to all that have contributed to helping me thus far. I have way more to learn. I read over the xlights manual a couple more times and determined that I had a universe problem thats why my strings had mixed colors in my screen shots, I think.

yes it is and when I pull up node mode it does show up green, in pixels past 50 on each of the 2 channels that I am running 150 pixels on. I am going to try and use 3  individual stings I think and then just point them to channel 1 and 2 I am not so sure I can do it like that but, im not sure what is going on. here is 2 pics of some of what it does

Hello, I have found a problem that I have no idea how to fix . So when I connect 50 Ws2811 pixels to a single channel in xlights I choose blue and just turn that single color on it seems to be right, but on my other 2 channels  that I have strung 3 strings of 50 which is 150 pixels everything changes some of the pixels are red or green and not blue. I am not sure when I setup my models if I did that part right , when I toggle strand and check nodes is where I can see that the colors are incorrect on like 100 of 150 pixels on each of the larger strings.

Sorry I am still a total newb this is my first season with pixels. I have a Falcon F4v3 Dave Pitts controller and 30 amp 5 volt power supply and a Ras Pi 3 b  in master to talk to my Falcon.
