Actually, I'm embarrassed with how simple it was.    Creating a new sequence fixed it all.

I'm on a Mac, checked for system updates (just in case there was a driver update in there), and nada.

I've been scratching my head for the last night or two trying to figure out why my model isn't showing up in the Sequencer view?
