Do You Need Help? Post it here / How to output a test sequence from Xlights

This is my 2nd year running a show and I just upgraded to the new version of Xlights.  Im wondering how can I test and see my sequence on the actual models and mega tree?  Last version all I had to do was click on the output to lights tab on the top menu and my lights would be displayed outside.  Now I have no idea how to do it.  Can anyone please help?  Thank you in advance

Thank you guys.  I will look at both options.  Only problem now is my power supply just took a dump so I'm waiting to install that and get my show up and running.  thanks again

I'm trying to figure out a problem I'm having with two strip lights on a house outline not doing what they should be doing. This is my 2nd year running the same equipment.  I did nothing different and did not even upgrade to the new version of Xlights.  I have 7 strips of 50 pixels each running off of 2 smart long range receiver's from Holiday Coro. One receiver I'm using 4 outputs and the other I'm only using 3.  All this is being run off the HinxPix pro controller where I have my mega tree.  At first I thought it was the strips lights because I did not take them down off the house.  Once I replaced them I got the exact same problem.  Now all other strips lights and Mega tree are functioning correctly.  What could be the problem with these two strips??

thank you very much Dan.  I was going crazy trying to look for it.  that does make sense and hopefully i have plenty of time to buy a raspberry Pi and get it to work.

I think you may be onto something.  Somehow and I don't know how I downloaded an old version of Xlights which i just checked now and it had Xscheduler attached to it.  To my delight i quickly moved it to my desktop and made sure it opened.  So far it works but haven't tested anything yet.  Fingers crossed everything plays well with each other.  Thanks for not making me thing Im going crazy...lol

Thank you very much. I'll look for it but haven't found anything yet that was downloaded on top my desktop. I'm using a MacBook Air and wondering if that has anything to do with the download.  Worst case I delete everything and start from scratch. It will be good practice 😁

Thank you very much.. I've downloaded it on a MacBook Air and can't seem to find the download file.  I'm thinking of deleting everything and just starting from scratch. I missed something when downloading the file..🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm new to the pixel world so please forgive my vocabulary at times.  I'm in need of locating the scheduler tab or any Xschelduler at that matter.  I have gone through the process of activating my controller,testing my lights, and running a test sequence from my computer through Xlights output.  My only question now is where is that damn scheduler tab 😀. I only have 3 tabs I can choose...controller, layout and sequence. Nothing showing schedule.  I've even tried all the drop down menus across the top.  Nothing....can someone please help?

I have a question and hopefully I'm not wasting anyone's time. I'm totally green to this whole pixel lighting world. I've done a ton of research the past year and now finally ready to dive in.  I've.bought controller from Holiday Coro and Mega tree package. Everything is loaded and working(not without issues) lol but I've managed to figure it out myself. My question is I cannot find Xscheduler anywhere on Xlights or a standalone app. Am I missing something? All I want to do is test my sequence for 24hrs to make sure everything is working. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you Dave
