Do You Need Help? Post it here / Re: timing mark horizontal lines

Thank you ,sir. I knew it was something that I had done but having slept a couple of times since doing that, I just could not recall what is was. I was certain that it had something to do with "fading in/out" but I could not make the association with "Blending".
You have definitely saved "an old guy" from another sleepless night.

Can someone please tell me what the small lines are at the top of timing marks and how did they get there. At one time, I knew the answer but am unable to relieve that information either from memory or the manual.
Thanks

I have now found out that during the process these image files become unnecessary. I think it has something to do with the sequence of rendering and saving. But right now I have the subject sequence running correctly and the folder where I put the image files has been removed completely from the show folder. Just another of the many facets of this software that I have no clue about let alone find the answer.

I searched as you suggested but was unable to find any reference to a *.png in any location except the show folder where I have all of them for this one odd sequence. The only way that sequence will run correctly is if the .png files are in the show directory. So, while I think I already tried this, I am going to delete all references to that sequence and try building it again. The only hesitation I have for doing that is I am not sure what might show up from some sort of back up.
Thanks to all for the suggestions

Thanks for the reply. In this case, I think I need to know how to edit the file that points to their location. This is a single situation in my sequences. I can find the .png files for some of my sequences , but not all of them. However, this one sequence is the only one that fails to work unless they are in the show directory which really clutters things up since their 250 of them. Can you enlighten me as to direct that sequence to look in the right place? I have them in two locations now. The show directory as well as a sub folder called (IMAGES).
Regards
Kent

I have had to rebuild a sequence due to a drive issue. I now have one sequence that will not play correctly unless I put all of the *.png files into the show directory. Other sequences work fine. What I really need is some "school housen' " regarding where in the structure these files need to be to run correctly. Is there a file that I can edit that will tell the sequence where it should be looking for these files??
Any help greatly appreciated.
