So it looks like when I used WLED with RGBW selected it does the white channel mixing itself. I managed to hack together a small set of strings to test in the office. I think I got it to behave the way I want by using the white channel option in WLED and RGB Nodes in xLights. There are "Auto-Calculate" settings in WLED that I messed with and changing it to "accurate" made the difference.

Hello all,

So this year for Christmas I decided to put up some "permanent" lights for year round holidays. I went off the beaten and ordered 1000 SM16704 12mm 5V RGBW lights. Tested them with WLED and everything looked good. With plans to slowly add every year and make a "show", I started looking at xLights.

Got an XATW loaded up selected RGBW Nodes and something isn't right. I can get it to play in sequence if I select RGB nodes but the white lights up both the white and the RGB (making white). I know little to nothing about LEDs besides what I am trying to pick up on the fly. Any clues on how I can try to get this squared away? Or am I just SOL? Was looking to pickup a controller to replace my two Dig-Uno WLED boards but I feel like I shot myself in the foot trying to get RGBW.

I have tried looking for documentation on the RGBW Color Handling Options but I couldn't find anything. It's weird that WLED knows what to do with the White Channel but xLights doesn't. Anyways, thanks for the help!
