Do You Need Help? Post it here / Re: Complex Matrix

Hi,
I think I Solved for 1 panel: 1 String, 256 nodes, 32 stand......
Now try to connect more panel

UPDATE: I added 2 panel (256 + 256) horizontally. With some effect works (FAN, BUTTERFLY, PIANO) but for TEXT (that worked with on panel only) not work!
I don't see nothing  like text is else (also in preview panel I don't see) and I f add effect movement I see some pixel random on the panel but not the text that I see with one panel only.

This is the word "TEST" using Xlights standard matrix.
Even columns are reversed UP/DOWN

Do You Need Help? Post it here / concentric circles
« on: January 17, 2021, 11:48:27 AM »
Hi,
I have 3 LED circles (45,35,24 LEDs) and I would like to assemble them concentrically to obtain 3 concentric rings to be used with effects such as "FAN" or "GALAXY". I have positioned them by making their beginnings coincide, but the final effect is not what I hoped for. I do not see what I imagine: the three circles together do not behave as a single matrix. Some effects seem to work, but the two that I expected to be the most "appropriate" don't!

Hello,
I'm new to Xlights. So far I have only used WLED and a little Jinx. I use QuinLED-Dig-Uno boards.
I bought 4 led panels (32 horizontal leds x 8 vertical leds) and I am having difficulty shaping them into xlights.
The panels are connected in a snake, first pixel on the top left, down the first column and then up the second, and so on ....
In Jinx there was a wizard in which I indicated the type of connection of the LEDs and he did everything himself.
In xlights using the matrix model I have some problems as it seems that the "snake" trend of the LEDs is not well managed.
So I tried (successfully) to map them by hand. I created a vertical strip of 8 leds, I assigned the top-> bottom, I cloned it and assigned the bottom-> top to the second. And so on, by hand, I cloned all 16 columns of the 32 available one at a time. This way now the matrix works, but really "heavy" to configure them this way. Also if I wanted to configure all 4 panels it would be really complex. In addition, I could decide to change the position of the panels between them (4 panels in a row, 4 in a column, or 2 x 2) and in this case I would have to reprogram everything. I'm sure this is not the correct way!
So I would like to understand how to easily model a 32x8 panel and then how to interconnect more identical panels to create more complex matrices.
