Greetings all,
Here is my exterior illumination story. During Christmas season, and when our kids were little, I used traditional lights to wrap the trees in our front yard and back yard. We also had numerous displays on the ground. It goes without saying, that we decorated the inside of our house as well. Our kids probably thought that all houses celebrated the wonderful Christmas season like us! Well, as the kids got older, went to college, and married off, I didn't have to work so hard on the outside of our house.
So, when our grandchildren arrived. The oldest are four years old. We took them for a ride in the car to look at Christmas lights in our wonderful city last Christmas. When our granddaughter saw the singing Christmas trees, she lit up. My lovely bride turned to me and said, "well grandpa, you know what you have to do."
And so it begins! I am a little techy and capable of doing many things. I went online to see what is out there. I found Holiday Coro and purchase four Singing Christmas Trees for M5 bulbs, purchased all the M5 strings, built and painted the frames, and inserted all of the bulbs. I also purchased several sequenced songs.
So, here I am on a journey. This year I plan to only use the four trees and learn a few things along the way to add to the show next year.
I am working through the setup of the four trees, and imported a model. I am wondering if the model is only for pixels and not for M5 bulbs. The trees have 8 channels (strings) each.
Am I using the right model, or do I have to use a different one for M5 bulbs?
Thank you,
Mark
