I discovered what the issue was and thought I would post back here for the benefit of anyone else who has this issue.  I skipped setting up the Falcon Player's universes to match up with the Falcon Controller, once this was matching everything else fell into place (I'll still need some black tape over pixel 100 thanks Gilrock ;) ).  Thanks for the help everyone.

You could modify the custom model and add 1 pixel and then just put tape around it.
I like this idea! Simple and effective.  Thank you for that.

Any ideas on the different colours from pixel 70 onwards?  I did a bit of testing and if the model is the built in polyline and it works just fine so I think I can rule out the physical pixel line as being the issue, it must be the model.  I haven't worked with custom models (or default for that matter) so any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.  Are you thinking that pixels 69 and 70 may be faulty?  Would that affect all pixels downstream from it as from 70 onwards it is the same colour?  I connected another 100px string and it did the same thing so I'm thinking it's the programming somehow.  I've just got it set to do a colour wash and the model in xlights is showing the entire candy cane the same consistent colour as it transitions.

Hi,
I've got two questions about setting up my new Boscoyo 99 pixel candy canes.  The first one is around setting it up in xlights, as you can see below pixel 70 and beyond is not lighting up in sequence with the rest of the model. How do I go about diagnosing and fixing this problem please?

Is there anything else I can provide to help get a solution?

The other question is around the leftover pixel in the string (it's a 100px string),  it is stuffing up the pixel alignment later in the sequence as it's seen as the first pixel in the next model, I hope that makes sense.  Thank you for the help!

Do You Need Help? Post it here / Re: Seperate effects between models

That was it, I clicked on the visualizer before and after ticking the auto size, layout and full control boxes and it didn't seem to change but selecting the correct vendor and model along with the tickboxes was what it needed!  Thank you so much for the help here, I was pulling my hair out looking at the addresses and channels.
I can't promise I won't be back for more questions but you have got me up and running enough to start putting some sequences together, cheers!

I'm sure that there is something very simple that I've missed here as I'm am very much a noob with Xlights but could someone please point out what I've done wrong.
I've got two models, a single poly line for my gutter and a set of 3 arches.

The issue is when I add an effect to either one of these in the sequencer it is applied to both models.
I hope this makes sense what I'm asking and please let me know if more information is needed, thank you for the help.
Controller is a F16V3
