Xlights Setup / FPP Proxy field

I noticed in the Setup tab when adding E1.31 universes, there is a field for what appears to be FPP Proxy. 

I am thinking is this for setting up an FPP (Pi) device that will directly communicate to the controller... 

How is this field used?  I couldn't find any information on it.
