Test tab RGB Channel Bug
« on: April 09, 2015, 05:58:50 PM »
On the Test Tab. When selecting three channels (ie: 1 pixel or multiple pixels) colors are fine until a channel above the start channel of the controller is turned on. However, if all values are R-255, G=255, B=255 the color of the start channel pixel remains white and behavior is not seen.

Example: For instance, choose channels 300, 301, 302, set sliders to be R=137, G=82, B=232. The pixel will be light purple. then click channel 298; for instance, the pixel that was light purple becomes cyan. Note that channel 300 is the start channel of the controller being tested.

This only occurs on the test tab. On sequencing tab this does not occur.

I think this has been since version 3 or at least that is when I started testing with Nutcracker/Xlights. I orginally thought this was firmware issue of my controller, but it only occurs on the Test tab. I also had not seen this on other sequencing programs. I didn't figure that out for a couple of days when I finally tested with another sequencing program. I thought I was nuts until then.  Could someone replicate this and confirm.

I know that the main focus for programming is sequencing, but want to make note of this behavior.
