Do I still need to update like in xl3?
« on: May 01, 2015, 12:53:34 PM »
I couldn't remember seeing this on any vids or anything...   Should I continue to use "update (F5)" like I used to do in xl3 as I drop effects onto timings, change color schemes, etc?   Or is that basically a thing of the past?
Thanks!!

I think there are still some hiccups where you gotta hit it.  So if you make an adjustment and it doesn't seem to do anything....that's your clue to hit it.

I find that if I drop an effect on the timeline, then immediately save, you don't need to keep hitting f5 to see the different effects of the sliders and such in the preview window.

Thanks.  I have been saving frequently like I do with "regular" windows files..   Then I got thinking maybe F5 was still something we should do in xl4.
