Using arrow keys to move effects
« on: June 08, 2015, 06:41:03 PM »
Using the arrow keys (eg down arrow and up arrow) , is it possible to move effects from one model to another or can that only be used when moving from one layer to another ?

For example , in the sequencer, if there are a number of models listed  (eg Arch1 , Arch2 , Arch 3 etc) and I have created effects (accidentally) on Arch 2 which should go to Arch 3 , can I select the effect (or contiguous effects)  on the grid and click the down arrow to move it one row down ?

The arrow movement is confined to all layers within a model.  You can contiguous select, right click copy, right click paste to achieve the same thing. Or you can use CTL+C, CTL+V.

Thank you,

Watching the video , I was not sure as to whether you could move the effect anywhere within the grid or not.

I have been using the cut/copy and paste - just need to get used to it better ie especially where the area is already cluttered.
