additions: QM vamps

The manual has info for the linux QM vamps -- path names, etc.

suggest that the QM vamps section should call out that his info is for linux.
also suggest that corresponding sections be added for windows and mac (if available).

Page 15.

Which brings me to a new suggestion... :) 

The page numbers found at the bottom of each page (the footer) do not match up with the page number in the Adobe Reader tool bar.
When I say "Page 15" I am referring to the current page in the reader...  If I referred to the bottom of the page, it would be "page 14".  It gets out of sync because the title page is unnumbered.
